My Summer As A CSI Connect Intern: Sienna Radovich

This summer, I had the opportunity to serve as an IT Help Desk Intern with CSI Companies through the CSI Connect internship program. Going into the internship, I hoped to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, and the experience exceeded my expectations. From day one, I was welcomed by a team that encouraged learning, collaboration, and growth. Through CSI Connect workshops, presentations, networking events, and mentorship opportunities, I was able to develop both technical and professional skills that will benefit me throughout my career.

During my internship, I worked closely with the IT team to support daily business operations. My responsibilities included performing operational equipment checks, configuring and deploying laptops, managing IT asset inventory, creating and modifying user accounts, and assisting with identity and device management through tools such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the internship was the opportunity to work on real-world projects and collaborate with experienced professionals. Whether assisting with device deployments or supporting account management processes, I gained a deeper understanding of enterprise IT operations. I also had the chance to strengthen important soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork. Through CSI Connect, I participated in leadership development activities, interview preparation, public speaking opportunities, and networking events that helped me become more confident in a professional setting.

This experience has helped shape my future career goals by confirming my passion for information technology. The knowledge I gained, combined with the relationships I built through CSI Connect, has given me a stronger foundation as I continue my studies in Information Technology. I am incredibly grateful to the mentors and fellow interns who invested in my development throughout the summer. As I move forward in my career, I will carry the lessons learned during this internship with me, and I am excited to continue growing as an IT professional.
